Emmys 2022 WINNERS LIST: Squid Games Fame Lee Jung Jae, Euphoria Star Zendaya And Others WIN Big At Popular Award Show!
The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, IST and it celebrates the crème de la crème of Television which honours the best shows and the impeccable performances, from the year gone by.

The award show was hosted by Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson, and it was held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

Emmy’s 2022 witnessed ‘Ted Lasso’ winning the best comedy series for the second time in a row, HBO Max’s ‘The White Lotus’ took top limited series and HBO’s ‘Succession’ grabbed the highest honor of the night with outstanding drama series.

Interestingly, Ted Lasso and The White Lotus received 20 nominations, respectively, while Only Murders in the Building and Hacks was bestowed with 17 nominations each.

Meanwhile, Squid Game made history as it received 14 nominations including Oustanding Drama Series for Hwang Dong Hyuk (also nominated for Oustanding Directing for a Drama Series and Oustanding Writing for a Drama Series!) and Kim Ji Yeon. Lee Jung Jae (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series), Park Hae Soo and Oh Yeong Su (Oustanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series), and Jung Ho Yeon (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series) have received acting nominations as well, while Lee Yoo Mi has already made history (first Korean actress to win this honour!), winning the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

If Squid Game wins Best Drama, it will be the first non-English language series to win in the category.
